With strong foundation skills in place, you and your dog are ready for more complexity and fun in your scent detection journey!

Your dog is now a full fledged scent detector! Join our advanced class and take those skills higher and higher!​

Beginners Nosework
Starts Saturday, February 28 @ 12:30 pm
​Starts Saturday, March 7 @ 2:30 pm

​​Start your scent detection journey with our fun Beginners class. Classes are 1.5 hours long. Maximum four dogs. Skills taught include: 

• Recognizing odour
• Discriminating between odour and non-odour
• Developing an indication
• Hunting/searching 
• Leash handling 
• Container searches​​​​​

Intermediate Nosework 
​January 2026 - FULL

​Bring your fledgling scent detector to our Intermediate class and watch them soar!   Classes are 1.5 hours long. Maximum four dogs. Skills taught include:

• More complex hunting skills 
• Refining leash handling skills
• Interior and exterior searches
• Introduction to multiple hides
• Refining the indication/alert

Prerequisite: Completion of Beginners

Advanced Interiors and Exteriors in Novel Locations - Coming Soon

Classes held in a different location each week to generalize your dog's skills. 

Explore your dog's growing scent detection skills in searching:

• Novel exteriors (urban and rural)
• Novel interiors 
• Vehicles 
• Buried and water hides
• And much more!

Prerequisites:  Beginners and Intermediate Nosework 

You can book one, two, three or four sessions. Discounts apply for multiple sessions. You must book each session individually.  See Booking Policies for Advanced Classes below. 

Booking Policies for Advanced Classes

• You can attend any available session but you must book ahead. 
• You can book any available session anytime from now until the end of May. If you purchase multiple sessions, you do not need to book them all at once.
• Individual sessions may not run if fewer than two participants register.

• ​If you have booked a session that is cancelled because of weather or because it didn't fill, you will be credited for another session. Refunds are not offered. 
• You can switch sessions without penalty with 48 hours notice (emergencies excepted).
