- Dog training and behaviour modification should be based on positive reinforcement principles and methods without the use of force, pain, fear, and intimidation.

Credentials
Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP), Karen Pryor Academy. Graduated with distinction, December 2014. The Karen Pryor Academy is a respected dog training academy that adheres to the highest standards in the industry. A KPA CTP is a graduate of the Dog Trainer Professional Program. In order to graduate, KPA CTP's must demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and hands-on skills both training dogs and teaching people.
Graduate, Aggression in Dogs Master Course
Family Dog Mediator (FDM), L.E.G.S. Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation. Completed the certification in December 2021. Family dog mediation uses the Dog L.E.G.S. model as a framework for understanding dogs' behaviour. Briefly, L.E.G.S. acknowledges the differences and predispositions among dogs based on four elements: Learning (your dog's experiences and education); Environment (the many aspects of your dog's external world); Genetics (the DNA that designed your dog inside and out); and Self (the unique interior world of your dog including health, development, age, sex, and individuality.) Each of these "L.E.G.S." is important in understanding your dog and helping people and dogs to live together harmoniously.
